Meet the Staff

Administrator

Valerie Kay, LNHA

Valerie Kay has been the Administrator at Heather Health Care sine fall 2011. Before being named administrator, Valerie was the Admission Director at Heather since August 2009. Prior to coming to Heather Health Care, Valerie worked as the Admission Director at Alden of Waterford Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Aurora and also worked for Alden in Patient Relations. Valerie has a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Harrington College in Chicago.

Director of Nursing

Laide Morgan, RN

Laide Morgan, RN, has been Director of Nursing at Heather Health Care since November 2007. She joined the staff at Heather as a part-time staff nurse in February 2007 and was promoted to Assistant Director of Nursing in April 2007. Prior to becoming nurse, Laide worked as a marketing and sales specialist for 15 years. She has a bachelor's degree in Marketing from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago and an associate's degree in Nursing from South Suburban Community College in South Holland.
